Trend's New Family of Fibre Optic Testers

Maidenhead (UK). Trend Communications announces a new family of fibre optic testers.

Trend Communications has announced a new family of highly productive fibre optic testers for effective fibre optics installation, maintenance and troubleshooting:

The Optical Loss Test Set is a tester capable of characterizing the loss of optical fibre links and rings. The outstanding features of this tool include a large memory to store results, external PC software for analysis, remote control, and automatic testing capability.

The Optical Attenuator provides configurable, precise attenuation to optical links from 2 to 60 dB. This is the perfect tool to complement any optical network tester; a practical add-on for link simulation and optical margin testing. Includes free remote control software.

The Optical Power Meter enables field technicians or laboratory personnel to measure power and loss in optical links. The tester's InGaAs detector has exceptional accuracy, combined with an incredibly simple user interface.

All the three members of this new family of products are especially designed for field use; they are light, yet robust (one-meter drop tested) and extremely easy to use.
