To upgrade MC2+ software ...

1. Identify the hardware version of the MC2+ to be upgraded.

Indicates that the unit is Annex A (ADSL over POTS)

Indicates that the unit is Annex B (ADSL over ISDN)

2. Connect the PC to the MC2+ using Ethernet or USB, as described in the user guide.
3. Launch Internet Explorer and type the address 192.168.1.1.
4. In the Login screen enter Username = Admin and Password = Admin. Click Login.
5. Click Tools tab.
6. Click Update Gateway (left hand side of screen).
7. Click Browse...
8. Upzip the software and select the file "nsp.annexA.firmware.upgrade.img" or "nsp.annexB.firmware.upgrade.img" depending on the hardware type
9. Click Open then Update Gateway
10. PC displays "Upgrading..."
11. Wait for 3 minutes then close the Internet Explorer window. (During this time the Ethernet LED goes out after approx. 1min. and is then intermittent for the next 1-1.5mins., the LED then remains stable indicating download has finished).
12. Press and hold the reset button on the MC2+ until the Ethernet LED switches off. Allow the unit to re-boot, which is indicated by the Ethernet LED lighting.
